๐Ÿ“– Effective product filtering is crucial for enhancing the user experience and helping customers find the products they're looking for quickly. In this article, we'll explore how Boost AI Search & Discovery enables you to filter products using multi-level collections. With this powerful feature, you can organize your products and provide users with seamless filtering options.

What are Multi-level Collections?

Multi-level collections are a hierarchical system for organizing products into different levels of categories. Unlike traditional collections, which are typically flat and single-level, multi-level collections allow for deeper categorization. Each level represents a more specific category, providing users with greater granularity in their search and filtering options. This ensures a more precise and tailored shopping experience.

Here's an example with Tops as the first-level using collection followed by second-level values using tags (Bodysuits, Polos, Tanks & Camis, T-Shirts and Vest):

Configuring multi-level collections in Boost AI Search & Discovery is simple. Follow these steps to get started:

  • Step 2: On the top bar menu, hover to Filter > select Manage filter trees from the dropdown menu.

  • Step 3: Now you should see lists of your filter trees, select by clicking an existing one that you'd like to add a Multi-level Collections filter option to or create a new Custom filter tree by following this article.โ€‹

  • Step 4: From the Filter tree's settings page, scroll down to the Filter options section > click + Add filter option.
