📖 Cart drawer is a feature powered by Boost Commerce that allows customers to add products to their cart without any page reloads.
⚠️ This feature is applied to customers using the Boost app's TURBO and template version 1.6.1 and above.
⚠️ The Add to cart (ATC) button on the product page belongs to your theme, not to Boost, so it does not open Boost's Cart drawer. Shoppers can still open the Boost Cart drawer from the cart icon. On Boost collection and search results, the ATC button is powered by Boost, so it opens the Boost Cart drawer as expected.
Access Cart drawer settings
To access the Cart drawer settings, please follow these steps:
Step 1: From the app’s dashboard, click the Integration icon > Shopify integration
Step 2: Find the template you want to modify, then click on Customize or Add new template to open the Visual Editor tool.
Step 3: Click on the Advance features (cog icon) in the sidebar and select Cart drawer

💡 When you customize any attribute in the right sidebar ⇒ the preview pop-up will show the corresponding changes.
Enable Cart drawer: display the Cart drawer on your storefront
💡 Using Recommendation widgets in Cart Drawer
If you publish a Recommendation widget to Cart Drawer, keep your Cart drawer enabled in the Visual Design Editor. Disabling it hides Cart Drawer recommendations.
Select type of cart display:
Side cart: The Cart drawer will slide in from the side of the screen.
Popup cart: The Cart drawer will appear as pop-up.
Visibility settings: Check the box to automatically open Cart drawer when users add to cart.
⚠️ The Auto open "Cart drawer" when user add to cart settings is only available for Template version 2.14.0 and above. To check and update your Template version, please follow the instruction here.
Click the Save button to save all the changes you have made.
