Verify your template version
In Boost, go to Integration > Shopify integration > Manage template.
Find your template and click its version number.
Every installed template shows a version here.
Expected result: A status message confirms the template is up to date when you’re on the latest version.
When an update for a template is available, a notification replaces the template version number in your Boost admin.
Manually update your template
In Boost, go to Integration > Shopify integration > Manage template.
Find the template with an update notice and click the notification to open details.
Click Add latest version.
(Optional) Click View Release Notes to see what’s new.
Expected result: The latest version is added to your Template Library.
What carries over automatically (Visual Editor changes)
Visual Editor settings.
Layout edits (add, reorder, remove, or hide elements/sections).
New layouts you created.
Text/wording changes made in the Visual Editor.
⚠️ Important: Custom code edited in the Code Editor doesn’t transfer if it conflicts with the new version. Manually copy any custom code into the updated template.
When you add a new theme version to your Template library, its name is prefixed with Updated of.
