In this article, we guide you on the specific details in our Search Analytics section.

Based on an analysis of your consumers' search activity on your site, you may provide a better navigation experience thus boosting the conversion rate of your business.


Access Search Analytics

  1. From the app’s admin, click Analytics on the Menu bar.

  2. Click Search Analytics sub-menu.

  3. Click the Calendar button and select the correct date range to get the analytics from. When you want to compare one date range to the previous one, select Compare to previous dates.

  4. Click Apply. Search Analytics is divided into 5 sections:

  • Overview: Give you some most important metrics about your Search.

  • Searches: Give you the top Search terms and their performance metrics.

  • Search without clicks: Give you the top Search terms that don’t generate any click and their metrics to help you have more insight about each search term.

  • Search without result: Give you the top Search terms that don’t have results when shoppers search and their metrics to help you have more insight about each search term.

  • Product performance: Give you the top Products that have the best performance when your shoppers perform a search and their performance metrics.


Overview section

  • Conversion rate of Search: This metric measures how likely your shoppers tend to buy products after using our Search engine.

  • Click rate: This metric measures how likely your shoppers tend to click to view a product after they enter a search term.

  • Searches: This metric measures the Total number of searches that your shoppers performed during the defined date range. Besides the Total number of searches, we also provide the Top searches that were searched the most. Click View Report to access the Searches section and get an overview of the top 30 search terms and their other related figures.

  • Searches without clicks rate: This metric measures the percentage of Searches that don’t generate any clicks during the defined date range. Besides, we also provide Top searches without clicks which were searched most. Click the View report to access the Searches without clicks section and get an overview of the top 30 search terms and their other related figures.

  • Searches without result rate: This metric measures the percentage of Searches that don’t have results during the defined date range. Besides, we also provide Top searches without results which were searched most. Click View Report to access Searches without Result section and get an overview of the top 30 search terms and their other related figures.

  • Product performance: This table gives you the top 5 products that have the highest revenue when your shoppers perform searches. Click View Report to access the Product performance section and get an overview of the top 30 products and their other related figures.


Searches section

  • In the Searches section, you can explore the top 30 search terms that were searched most and more metrics of each term, including:

    • Total searches: The total number of times this term was searched.

    • Revenue: The total revenue generated from this search term.

    • Order count: The total number of orders generated from this search term.

    • Conversion rate: The percentage of times when this search term has led to a conversion action (Buy or Add to cart action).

    • Click rate: The percentage of times when this search term has at least one click on results.

  • With each search term, you can add synonyms or merchandising rules to optimize your search term performance.

  • To understand more about search term details, you can click on this term in the table and access:

    • Revenue: The total revenue generated by this product from the selected search term.

    • Order count: The total number of orders which included this product from the selected search term.

    • Conversion rate: The percentage of times this product was bought or added to a cart from the selected search term.

    • Click count: The total clicks on this product from the selected search term.

Searches without clicks section

  • In the Search without clicks section, you can explore the top 30 search terms that were searched most and more metrics of each term, including:

    • Total searches: The total number of times this term was searched.

    • No click rate: The percentage of times this term didn’t have any clicks on results.

  • With each search term, you can add synonyms or merchandising rule to optimize your search term performance.

Search without results section

  • In the Search without results section, you can explore the top 30 search terms that were searched most and more metrics of each term, including:

    • Total searches: The total number of times this term was searched.

    • % Total searches: The percentage of total searches of this search term compared with the Total searches of all search terms.

  • With each search term, you can add synonyms or merchandising rule to optimize your search term performance.

Product performance section

  • In the Product performance section, you can explore the top 30 product which has the best performance and more metrics of each product, including:

    • Revenue: The total revenue generated by this product from search.

    • Order count: The total number of orders which included this product from the search.

    • Conversion rate: The percentage of times this product was bought or added to a cart from the search.

    • Click count: The total clicks on this product from search.
