⚠️ Note: bct token in Shopify order notes
To support Revenue Analytics, Boost may add a small internal token (for example, `bct-xxxx...`) to the Notes section of an order in Shopify Admin.
This helps us attribute Boost interactions (Search/Filter/Recommendations) to orders more reliably, especially because Shopify’s cart_token/checkout_token fields are deprecated and may change over time.
This token is normal and harmless.
It doesn’t change order items, prices, discounts, payment, or fulfillment.
It’s intended for internal tracking in Shopify Admin (customers won’t see it unless your notification templates display order notes).
Access App impact Analytics
From the app’s admin, click Analytics on the Menu bar > AI Search.
Click the Calendar button and select the correct date range to get the analytics from. When you want to compare one date range to the previous one, select Compare to previous dates.
Click Apply. App impact allows you to follow:
Total revenue generated by app: Revenue from orders placed after shoppers used Boost (filter, search, or recommendation) within the selected date range.
Why it matters: Shows the dollars Boost helps drive, with a breakdown by feature so you can see which one performs best.
Conversion rate: The share of shopping sessions that included a Boost interaction and ended in a purchase or add-to-cart.
Formula: (Purchases or Add-to-carts attributed to Boost) ÷ (Visits with Boost interactions) × 100%Order count: The number of orders placed after a Boost interaction in the selected period.
Why it matters: Helps you track how many orders Boost influences, not just revenue.Average order value: The average amount spent per Boost-attributed order.
Formula: Attributed Revenue ÷ Attributed Order CountRevenue per visitor: The average revenue per visitor in the selected period.
Formula: Attributed Revenue ÷ Total Visitors
