📖 The General Settings for pre-orders in Boost allow merchants to establish global rules across multiple pre-order campaigns. By configuring these settings, you can provide a consistent and seamless pre-order experience for your customers, ensuring clarity around availability, shipping timelines, and order management.

⚠️ This feature is only applied to customers using the Boost app's TURBO version. To check your app's version and upgrade to TURBO, follow this article.

Configuring Pre-order Button Text

Customizing Button Text

  • The pre-order button defaults to "Pre-order."

  • You can replace the default text with custom messaging. As you enter new text, it will automatically update in the preview section to reflect your changes.

This option allows you to align the button text with your store's brand voice, making the pre-order process more intuitive for customers.

Delivery Notice Text

  1. Enable Delivery Notice:

    • Select the checkbox “Show delivery notice text” to add a delivery message that appears alongside the pre-order button.

  2. Customizing Delivery Notice:

    • The default text reads: “This is a pre-order. Items will ship based on the estimated delivery date.”

    • You can edit the default message to suit your specific needs. When enabled, the updated message will display in the preview section, giving customers a clear understanding of the shipping timeline.

Preview Section

The preview section is designed to give you a real-time look at your pre-order settings as you configure them. Changes to the button text and delivery notice will appear immediately, helping you verify that your pre-order setup aligns with your store’s style and messaging.

⚠️ Full payment is the default payment option and cannot be changed in the general settings and it's only for visualization. It will show the payment type correspondingly with how you set up your Pre-order campaign.
