Create a post-purchase offer in Boost AI Search & Discovery

Learn how to use Post-purchase offers in Boost to drive your sales forward.

Written by Thomas Ta

📖 A post-purchase offer lets you show a one-click upsell immediately after a customer completes checkout, before they reach the Thank You page.

⚠️ This feature only works with Boost AI Search & Discovery TURBO version. To find out which version of our app you are using, please follow this article.

Before you start

  1. Plan requirements:

    • GMV-based pricing: Available for all plans.

    • Legacy pricing: Available on Essential plan and above, or if you have the Recommendations add-on. (Freemium and Basic legacy users will see a lock screen.)

  2. Shopify permission: You need access to Shopify Admin > Settings > Checkout to set Boost as the post-purchase app provider.

Enable Boost for Shopify post-purchase

Before you create your first offer, you must set Boost as your post-purchase app provider in Shopify.

  1. In your Shopify Admin, go to Settings > Checkout.

  2. Scroll down to the Post-purchase page section.

  3. Select Boost AI Search & Discovery.

  4. Click Save.

⚠️ Note: If you don’t enable this setting, your offers won’t display on the storefront, even if they are set to Active in the Boost dashboard.
